New dual channel technology = real-time pipeline protection
LivePIPE II real-time pipeline protection technology is announced to help oil
and gas operators enhance pipeline monitoring and security measures.
Dual channel technology delivers up to 100-km monitoring range from each
individual module with no multiplexing — just continuous monitoring — and
no loss of detection accuracy or sensitivity at any point.
LivePIPE II simplifes and lowers the cost of deploying a Distributed Fibre Optic sensing solution and introduces the developer’s EDAM: Enhanced Data and
Acoustic Management technology. EDAM provides enhanced operator pipeline
integrity insight as it allows them to listen to activity at a specifed location on the
installed fbre — in real-time.

Fittings’ abilities expand, aid HT&P lead times/compliance/safety
Expanded ProSeries Hot Tapping & Plugging Fittings capabilities are announced to deliver compliance, safety, improved quality, and shorter lead times.
Available for 4 through 36 in., the fttings expand capabilities of STOPPLE and STOPPLE Plus fttings. They also offer a broader
range of code-compliant fttings to address multiple applications and operating
conditions.
Consistent product quality is assured through model-based manufacturing.
Compliance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8; CSA Z662 CAT I and CAT
II; CFR 192 and 195a; and various ANSI or other codes has been proven and validated.
ProSeries is part of a total HT&P solutions line that includes STOPPLE Train

MID/OIML R117 Coriolis flowmeter serves custody transfer
A high-accuracy oil and gas custody transfer solution is announced to be provided
by MID/OIML R117-certifed Coriolis Flowmeter.
As a key component of the manufacturer’s total fscal metering package with its
fow computers and software — the meter is designed and approved for use at
highest 0.3 to 0.5 accuracy classes. Its compactness offers savings on unnecessary
on-site handling and installation costs, while easy-to-use HMI ensures reduced
training and commissioning expense.
Flow meter sensor tubes design enables operation with signifcantly lower pressure loss than other types — to save money by your selection of either smaller
meter sizes, or to run the meter at lower pumping costs. Other features include a
wide range of output options, including up to three current outputs.
