Enclosed solids control systems eliminate offshore, onshore fluid and solids shaking
MudCube enclosed solids control systems eliminate the traditional
process of shaking fuid and solids, replacing it with a vacuum-based
fltration system.
High air fow is used to effectively separate cuttings from drilling fuids. Cleaned fuids are returned to an active mud system and drilled
solids carried forward on a flter belt for discharge or removal.
MudCube is designed to negate the need for shaker and drying equipment to improve separation for better quality mud. This leads to enhanced drilling effciencies via stable mud properties, higher ROP, reduced stuck pipe incidents, and a decrease in Non Productive Time,
declares the maker.
The solids control confguration reduces the need for chemical additions to fuids and minimizes rates of dilution typically used
when solids removal effciency has not been optimized.
MudCube is engineered to reduce and make for ‘cleaner’ waste for disposal as it generates substantially drier cuttings with mud
on cuttings reduced to less than 30% of drilled solids and oil on cuttings as low as 5%.

Floating covers reduce evaporation and hydrocarbon/VOC emissions, serve frac water
Hexa-Covers Floating Covers are newly introduced to reduce oil and gas-related volatile organic liquids evaporation as well as VOC and hydrocarbon
emissions. These 8-inch-diameter hexagonal-shaped tiles are placed within
fxed-roof aboveground storage tanks to form a fexible, interlocking foating
blanket.
Two designs are available. Oil & Gas Duty Hexa-Covers comprise low-density DuPont Zytel 612 nylon resin which is chemically compatible with
oil, bitumen, diluents, condensates, gasoline, refned products, organic
chemicals and water. It is classifed “static dissipative’ by ASTM and resists
thermal shock and weight gain. The oil and gas confgurations cover nearly
the entire surface area of a liquid to reduce volatile organic liquids evaporation, odor emissions, VOCs, and water vapor.
Water version Hexa-Cover R114 is specifcally designed for use in frac
water impoundments. It delivers up to 99.9% coverage of liquid surface; up to 95% reduction of evaporation from water surface;
up to 95% stable, constant emissions reduction; up to 90% stable, constant odor reduction; and up to 74% reduction of heat loss
