Patented closed gas buster separation
system, method = safe, solids handling

A United States patent has been awarded Closed Gas Buster Separation System & Method.

The third-generation design prevents release of gas on location during well completion and intervention. Gas separation is said to be signifcantly optimized with addition of a 10-in.- diameter internal gas buster tube (more surface area for gas breakout) and 8-in.-diameter vertical vent to minimize velocity spillover and reduce mist carryover. New stabilizers deliver earthquake
protection to oil and gas vessels, tanks

Seismic Stabalizers are now on the market to safeguard 300, 400, or 500-bbl oil and gas tanks from earthquakes and other seismic activity.

The patent-pending seismic base is constructed of 8-in. square tubing and heavy plate for a weight of 10,800 lb. This combines with the weight of a tank and its contents to create a restraint for up to 6.0 magnitude earthquakes, declares the manufacturer.

The fnished 15 x 15-ft Seismic Stabalizer, engineered by Cyntergy in Tulsa Oklahoma, comes in two-piece modular design. It’s easily transported without permits and unloaded/ installed with a standard telehandler typically used to build tank batteries. It takes about 1 hr to bolt the unit together using standard tools and wrenches.

The tank and base have tie-down brackets to secure them. All bolts and accessories come with the package. The base is designed for easy reuse and relocation.
