New hydraulically-set and mechanically-set retrievable tubing anchors / catchers developed
With patent pending slip / cone design, new Trilobite Hydro Anchor & Quarter Turn Anchor are introduced as
hydraulically-set and mechanically-set retrievable tubing anchors / catchers.
Each comprise heat-treated steel alloy double-acting slips for maximum holding in tension or compression. Their
fully enclosed slips enable maximum bypass area around the outside of the anchor while maintaining a full open ID
through the tubing. This design is used to route multiple capillary lines or monitoring cables past the anchor and to
provide a gas/debris bypass around the three slips.
Both Trilobites also prevent tubing movement during pumping strokes, and hold it stationary if it should part — to
increase pump effciency, reduce rod and tubing wear, and keep tubing/rods from falling into the well.

Plug creates internal pressure barrier in pipeline
“Low-stress” IsoPig pipeline pressure isolation plug is newly
announced to work in thin wall onshore pipelines or offshore
With its design and technology — stress on the pipe wall is
signifcantly reduced to create a piggable solution that allows
an internal pressure barrier for onshore applications. This enables application in thinner wall pipelines — without use of
IsoPig allows pressure isolation of a pipeline section — all
from inside for a hydrocarbon-free worksite — without excavation, welding, cutting large holes, leaving fttings, and without purging or fattening the line.
The new plug has been tested and confrmed to isolate sig-nifcant pressures with low pipe stress, while remaining a true
double-block barrier with zero leakage, declares the maker.
