White Paper presents how to ensure effective Vapor Recovery Unit oilfield operation
A new and free White Paper asks “Does your Vapor-Recovery Unit (VRU)
vibrate? It shouldn’t. In fact, a vibrating VRU unit is often an indication a
system is not operating at peak performance.
If your unit is experiencing vibration, it is typically not being caused by any
individual VRU component; instead it is usually because the skid assemblies
on your installation were not properly designed and/or installed.
Prolonged operation with an improperly designed skid or poor foundation
can damage the compressor and compromise a VRU’s overall operational effectiveness and reliability.

Deep well injection alternative offered
Fairmont Brine Processing is available “as an environmen-
tally responsible alternative to deep well injection.”
It utilizes a multi-effect evaporation and crystallization process
to recycle wastewater produced in natural resource extraction.
There are no remaining liquids or salt slurries to be disposed of
via deep well injection. On fowback and produced fuid, it pro-
duces distilled water which can be discharged per EPA 500-mg/l.
