Compressor & pump variable speed drive combines
hydrodynamic power transmission, planetary gear
VoreconNX compressor and pump speed controllers are newly introduced as economic solutions for a lower power range up to 10 MW with
beneft of 48 years MTBF.
They are announced as “an advanced development of hydrodynamic
power transmission in combination with a planetary gear.” Adjustable pump
guide vanes in the torque converter offer an effciency improvement of up to
8% at part load.
VoreconNX is located in the driveline between the drive motor and the
driven machine. The input shaft is connected to the planet carrier of the
planetary gear so a large proportion of the input power is transmitted to the planetary directly, mechanically and almost loss-free.
The new variable speed drives are designed to serve oil and gas production, refning, petrochemicals, gas transport or treatment,

Separators restore wellhead metering
New MPFS Multi-Phase Flow
Separators are designed to
eliminate accuracy problems in
wellhead metering systems with
their streams of mixed phase
liquids and gases.
Models segregate individual
liquid and gas phases before
they enter LACT skid meter(s).
In water-oil-gas, three meters
can be used for complete fow delineation and quantifcation.
Complete phase separation systems are available to serve small
waste streams up through large-diameter pipelines. They require
no external pump energy. Phase separation and polishing take
place in a single vessel in real time and at full fow rates. Systems
also improve downstream processes and transportation when uniform fows are presented to pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
