This presentation will look back at the size, complexity and success of the planning and offshore execution for the abandonment of
the extensive subsea infrastructure that was supported by the Independence Hub floating production facility.
Clay Thompson is a project manager for Anadarko and came to the company in 2012. Earlier in his career, he worked for two major
deepwater EPIC contractors on several Gulf of Mexico and International deepwater projects before coming to Anadarko as a Hull and
Mooring delivery manager for major greenfield projects. Thompson’s primary technical skills and experience lie in Hull construction
and offshore marine operations, both of which have proven to be useful tools in filling his current role as Decommissioning Manager
for Anadarko’s deepwater assets.
TLP TENDON FLEX BEARING REPLACEMENT

For any asset seeking continuing service beyond its design lifetime, substantial mitigation projects will be required. Eni US Operating
has planned an industry first tendon flex bearing replacement project that is scheduled to be completed in June of 2018. This
presentation will focus on the method, field testing, and lessons learned.
Tim Frame is the facilities engineering advisor for Eni US Operating. Frame started his career on an Alaskan development project in
2007 and relocated to Houston in 2012. Since 2013, he has managed the lifetime extension project and associated mitigation projects
for the Allegheny TLP.
