GREG WITHERS, BP Global Projects Organization, Offshore, Engineering Director; BP Exploration & Production Inc.
Greg Withers is the Engineering Director for offshore projects in BP’s Upstream Global Projects Organization (GPO).
Greg is responsible for the engineering design and resources in BP’s Upstream offshore portfolio of projects which covers projects
in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, Trinidad, Brazil, India and Angola. He has been with BP for 10 years, during which he has held a
number of positions managing engineering design and procurement in Azerbaijan, United Kingdom and the United States.
Prior to joining BP, Greg spent 15 years with WorleyParsons in multiple countries holding a number of Engineering, Project
Management, Construction and Commissioning roles.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Automation and Control (Honors) and a NZCE in Industrial Measurement and Control.

RYAN MALONE, Projects General Manager – Gulf of Mexico; BP, Upstream – Global Projects Organization (GPO)
Ryan Malone is the Projects General Manager for Gulf of Mexico, and is responsible for BP’s developments portfolio within the
region. Ryan joined BP in 2002 and has held a number of posts in both operations and projects.
Ryan’s career with BP began as an operations engineer in Onshore USA and then led to a number of project engineering and
management roles. Ryan worked on the Mardi Gras Transportation System deepwater pipeline project as a construction engineer,
and on the Atlantis and Thunder Horse projects in various subsea and project management roles. Ryan was the Project Manager for
the Mad Dog Phase 2 Floating Systems scope, and held the position of Director – Global Subsea Systems responsible for delivering
all of BP’s subsea systems designs and equipment globally. Ryan was Executive Assistant to the COO - Global Projects, where he
helped in the creation of BP’s global projects organization (GPO).
Ryan has a Mechanical Engineering degree with a Minor in Mathematics from Baylor University.
